ERP projects are well-known and notorious from the horror stories that often appear in branch or IT magazines, where multi-million budgets are over run and still didn't bring the solution the company was hoping for. On the other hand ERP also has a magical glare to a lot of organizations who realize there is a problem with controlling certain business processes. An implementation of an (new) ERP system will solve these problems like a wizard can have a rabbit disappear into his hat. At least, that is what the decision makers in these organizations are hoping for.

The consultants at SD&S have a lot of experience in process management and related ERP projects. This experience has learned that the ERP projects are controllable and also that (re) implementing ERP systems doesn’t automatically solve the problems. We like to add this experience on an interim basis to our customer’s organizations and thus helping them to go through a successful process or ERP change. And although it is much nicer or spectacular to talk about an ERP project gone bad and you will probably not hear as often about them, the successful projects do exist as we know from a fact.
